The Soviet and Russian rock band 'Krematoriy' was formed in 1983 in Moscow. The band's long-standing leader, as well as the author of its music and lyrics, is Armen Grigoryan. The band's name came about back in his student years and over time became a symbol of a special, existential kind of poetry that set 'Krematoriy' apart from other bands.

In the early 1990s, Lada Dens was noticed by composer Arkady Ukupnik, who wrote her biggest hits. In 1992, the song “Girl-Night” instantly became Lada Dens' calling card. In 1993, she released her debut 'Night Album,' which, besides “Girl-Night,” featured hits like “You Should Enjoy Life,” “Night Dances,” “I’ll Go With You,” and “Love Racer.” In 1994, the album 'Dances by the Sea' came out, and in 1996 — the record 'Taste of Love.' In 1997, the singer presented a jazz work 'Fantasies' with Oleg Lundstrem's orchestra and the album 'On the Islands of Love.' Later, the albums 'When the Gardens Bloom' and 'My Colors' were released. Lada Dens also acted in films and appeared in popular magazines, including 'Playboy.'
