E-Type is the stage name of Swedish musician Boo Martin Erik Erickson. Started his musical career as a drummer in speed metal bands, but quickly turned into a pop artist. The artist's debut album, released in 1994, was originally prepared with a Russian audience in mind (as evidenced by the presence of Boris Zosimov and PolyGram Russia in the acknowledgments). The songs "This Is the Way" and "Russian Lullaby" were co-written with Joker from Ace Of Base and the ubiquitous Alexander Bard from Army Of Lovers appeared as co-producers. The album was extremely favorably received in Russia, but the real finest hour of E-Type struck four years later, with the release of the third disc "Last Man Standing". The mega hits "Angels Crying" and "Here I Go Again" have been stuck in the playlists of pop radio stations for a quarter of a century.
