The album “Bringing Good Luck” by the band “Visokosny God” is the band’s second (and posthumous) release; it was released in 2024, after the band’s leader, Ilya Kalinnikov, passed away. It includes 14 tracks: some are re‑recorded tracks from the 1995 cassette album, re‑recorded under professional conditions, while others are previously scattered studio recordings from 1993–2006.

Among the notable tracks are “Sky Without Stars” (the prototype of the hit “Quiet Fire”), as well as the songs “Reflection of the Sky” and “Native Blood,” written by Inna Zhelannaya.

Sonically, the album retains the recognizable aesthetic of “Visokosny God”: soft pop rock, a trusting presentation, and an emphasis on the melody and lyrics of Ilya Kalinnikov — lyrical, with everyday details and subtle observations. At the same time, the remastered versions feature a cleaner, more modern sound compared to the early recordings.

The release became a kind of continuation of the band’s legacy and a tribute to Kalinnikov — it was released with the support of the musician’s family and friends.
