The record, released in 1994, was recorded at the dawn of computer sound recording using the "music from numbers" technology, a principle similar to the operation of "tracker" programs that were popular during the DOS operating system. Despite the amount of "simulation", Alexey himself considers this record to be one of the most successful in his work. "The Sailor's Dream" is being listened to no less cheerfully these days, which is facilitated by the track "Refrigerator" included in the album, which suddenly appeared online. Joanna Stingray, musicians of Ivan Kupala and Russian Size also took part in the work on the record. At one time, not a single record company dared to publish The Sailor's Dream, and the first official CD edition was released only in 2001. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the album, Maschina Records is pleased to present you its first vinyl release. The record will be presented in classic black and limited color versions. The blue vinyl version will be released as a collector's edition set.
