The album of the group "New Composers" - "Sputnik" is a compilation of singles released by the group abroad on vinyl records in the period from 1990 to 1996. It includes the first Russian techno anthems "Life Companion" and "Dance". Especially for the reissue of this album, a new mastering of the tracks was prepared, which made it possible to improve the sound of classical compositions. The original master tapes from the band's archive were used for the reissue. 7 bonus tracks were added to the CD edition of the album, including previously unreleased works of the band of that period, recorded both at European studios and at a studio in Leningrad. The edition is supplemented with a rare demo "Tanz-Acid". This demo version of the hit "Dance", used in the intro of television programs, was wanted by the band's fans and is published in its entirety on our publication for the first time. The CD edition has a collector's design, packed in a colorful box, contains a 12-page booklet with archival photos, annotations in Russian and English, and a full-fledged poster from the «Doping Pong» art group.
