The first and only album of the Oleg Parastaev project, created by him after leaving the Alliance. The author of the hit "At Dawn" wanted to continue moving in the direction of romantic synth-pop. With the recording of the album, the new team was helped by an old friend Igor Zamaraev, who organized the recording sessions. In general, Wake up was a development of the theme started in the album At Dawn. "NRG" in the late 80s received their portion of well-deserved popularity: for example, vocalist Sergei Bykov was daily expected by crowds of fans at the entrance, and the group itself received support from Alla Pugacheva, performing in her "Christmas Meetings".

The disc is released as part of the release of an anthology of recordings by the group "Alliance" from the original master tapes. Please note that a CD contains significantly more material than vinyl.
